Coming soon
Jane and Andy Fitz-Gibbon's latest book, Welcoming Strangers: The Loving Nonviolent (Re)Parenting of Children in Foster Care will soon be published by Transaction Publishers.
After over thirty years of caring for over 100 children the Fitz-Gibbons share their reflections about care and about loving nonviolence. With over half a million children in care, many victims of violence, the time is right for a new look at nonviolence in the home. Jane and Andy Fitz-Gibbon share from their deep experience of caring and their principled commitment to nonviolence.
The book will be of interest to anyone involved in the care of children: foster carers, adopters, caseworkers, case managers, policy makers ...
Stay tuned!
